iDance
iDance is a European program which provides access to contemporary dance education for people with disabilities. I have been a choreographer/teacher for this program since its launch in 2016, assisted by Irini Kourouvani in teaching workshops for people with and without learning disabilities.
Movement workshops for people with and without learning disabilities
In 2018-2019 the workshop was called Choreographic Experiments was co-led by Medie Megas, Maria Koliopoulou and Iris Karayan. It was addressed to a group of mixed disabilities and aimed to give the opportunity to its participants to try our their choreographic ideas. More info here.

In 2017-2018 the workshop introduced the element of choreography to the workshop as a creative and empowering practice.

In the 2016-2017 workshop we focused on the practice of dance improvisation, aiming at the development of the participants’ creativity, independence and confidence within an improvisational dance context, along side of course their physical/dance skills.
